Andrew brings more than two decades of senior leadership experience across global payments, digital infrastructure, and financial innovation. He most recently served as Chief Operating Officer of Etihad Payments, the national payments entity of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), where he played a key role in modernising the UAE’s domestic payment infrastructure.
Prior to that, he was the founding Centre Head of the BIS Innovation Hub in Singapore and Chief Information Officer at Payments Canada, where he led the delivery of the country’s real-time payments platform.
Mark Munne has been active in payments since 2006, building two decades of hands-on experience across banks, payment processors, fintechs and international institutions. He played a key role in the migration to SEPA at ABN AMRO and was a driving force behind the successful launch of Instant Payments at Worldline, contributing to ECB working groups and the EACHA Innovation Group on instant payments interoperability.
Mark also worked in open banking, engaging with regulators and industry bodies and advising companies such as Isabel Group and Visma on strategy and implementation. From the early stages of Project Nexus, he supported the BIS as technology and operations consultant and now serves as Head of Technology at Nexus Global Payments.
Prior to his appointment in NGP, Benjamin was a Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) secondee in the Bank for International Settlements Innovation Hub (BISIH) Singapore Centre where he was a senior staff and eventually served as the Acting Centre Head.
Benjamin’s background includes a career in central banking at the MAS, where he worked on international finance matters, and at the Ministry of Finance in Singapore, where he worked on public finance administration matters. He also served as Singapore’s representative to the Executive Board of the World Bank Group and was based in Washington DC between 2014-2016.
